Alex Jess qualified from the University of Dundee. His path to become a Restorative Dentist included Maxillofacial Senior House Officer rotations, obtaining a residential based Masters in Conservative Dentistry from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute UCL. He was awarded the 2010 3M ESPE Postgraduate Prize for excellence in clinical and academic achievement. 2010-2021 he worked as part of a consultant led team as a postgraduate trainer, lecturer and Secondary Tier Practitioner providing Oral surgery, sedation and advanced restorative care for complex trauma cases. He currently works in private practice on referral for complex restorative cases, endodontics, hard/soft tissue surgery and implants. Alex previously held a position at Queen’s University as a Clinical Teaching Fellow and examiner for the MFDS RCS Eng.
