Originally from Newcastle, Heshika qualified from Newcastle University in 2022 with a BDS in Dental Surgery. She also holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Sheffield. Heshika spent her foundation year in the practice and has continued to work at the practice since. She is currently studying for her diploma (PGDip) in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry and has an interest in cosmetic dentistry and smile design. Heshika is a general dentist with interests in paediatric dentistry, implant supported restorations and working with nervous and anxious patients. Heshika especially values the patient journey, and enjoys making dental treatment comfortable and accessible for everyone. Outside of work, Heshika enjoys spending her time painting, cooking and practicing Krav Maga.
