Laura graduated from the University of Leeds in 2018 with a distinction. After graduating she successfully completed her dental foundation training in Hull in 2019. During this time she participated in the nationally-recognised ‘Teeth Team’ initiative which provided a great insight into child dental health. Laura was awarded the prestigious FGDP (Faculty of General Dental Practice UK) ‘Best Milestone Case’ for her scheme as well as a highly commended clinical case.She returned back to the North East in 2019 and has continued to develop further skills involving oral surgery and restorative dentistry. Laura is passionate about using minimally invasive dentistry and educating patients in maintaining excellent oral hygiene and preventing dental diseases.She is a certified provider of both Clear-Correct and Invisalign Go clear aligners. She is keen to incorporate modern dental techniques into her work and has underwent further training in ‘Smilefast’. She is interested in combining both orthodontic and restorative treatment to provide patients with long-term aesthetic and functional treatments. In October 2021 she will be commencing a highly recognised post-graduate year long programme in ‘Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry’. Outside of work Laura enjoys cooking, exercising and travelling.
