Smriti completed her BDS from D.Y.Patil Dental College and Hospital in 2003, Plus Qualified in Endodontics at the University of Chester England in 2022. After graduating she worked as a Dental Surgeon at Yerla Dental College and Hospital (Mumbai) in Prosthodontic department branch of dentistry where she was responsible for only making dentures and crowns and bridges. She also entered private practice for more than 10 years in India. She passed her statutory exam to be able to practice in the UK in 2019 and joined Kilkenny Dental Practice in Taunton and since then has been performing general dentistry. Smriti also works at the Advanced Oral Health Centre, Bridge House in Bridgwater on a referral basis. She has completed her post graduate certificate in Endodontology from University of Chester and performs difficult and challenging root canal treatment on the teeth which otherwise would need extraction. She has attended many courses to update her knowledge.
