Whether through the NHS or on a private basis, all patients can expect the same level of personal attention.A wealth of experience in all aspects of general dentistry gained over his many years with the practice means that patients experience a high level of treatment and continuation of care. Dr Bell is committed to constant improvement and has embraced new technologies to ensure everyone will receive a top quality service. Dr Bell enjoys a lot of sports and is a keen cyclist.

Ruth Greensmith Hygienist

Ruth qualified from Liverpool Dental Hospital as a hygienist in 1986.She returned to work in the Community Dental Service working in all departments including oral surgery and orthodontics. She gained valuable experience working with a wide variety of patients including very nervous patients and those with special needs . In 1990 she left to start work in general practice and has subsequently spent the last 20 years working in private practice . Ruth is a very caring and gentle hygienist and is passionate about providing a high standard of periodontal care particularly to those with more challenging problems .She continues to keep updated with all the changes in dentistry.Ruth is married with two children and enjoys cycling , fell walking , kayaking , reading and gardening in her spare time .

She has specialised in dental therapy treatments and is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) in the UK.Having qualified as a dentist in 2019, Arsha began her career in mydentist in February 2023 as Dental Therapist. She is committed to providing high-quality dental care, focusing on preventive treatments, patient education, and restorative procedures. Her approach to dentistry is patient-centered, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and compassionate care.Outside of her professional life, Arsha enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations. She also has a passion for cooking, often experimenting with different cuisines in her free time.

Carolyn Cole Dental Educational Supervisor

Carolyn graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1999.She has worked in general practice since then. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is especially keen to help young and nervous patients access routine dental care. She has offered anterior alignment orthodontics (teeth straightening) to her patients for over 10 years, and currently offers the Clear Correct system to straighten your teeth. This can be combined with whitening and bonding to give you the smile you have always dreamed of. Carolyn has completed a PGCert in Facilitating Learning in Healthcare at the University of Central Lancashire in 2024 and is now an Educational Supervisor for Health Education England (NE) supervising newly qualified dentists.Outside of work she enjoys curling, and walking.

John is a New Zealander who graduated from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand in 1999. He has worked in Scotland from 2004 when he completed his vocational training in Glasgow and Dumfries and Galloway. John then spent 7 years working in Private practice in Aberdeen where his family originate from. He moved to the north east of England in 2014 as his wife is from County Durham. John has just returned to Northumberland after a year working in private practice in New Zealand. John enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Outside of work John enjoys running and hill walking. He is kept busy with his young twins.
