    Alexander Nearchou obtained his first degree in Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece 2005).Working in the family’s private dental practice in Greece wasn’t enough to fulfil his thirst for knowledge and when the opportunity arose he relocated to the United Kingdom in 2007, with the purpose to pursue further education and gain experience in a different working environment. As he has always been fascinated by the potential and possibility of Orthodontics to alter a person’s facial profile and consequently improve their confidence and even their lifestyle for the better, he steered his career towards Orthodontics.In 2012, Alexander obtained the certificate of Orthodontics from University of Warwick, he became an Invisalign provider and has graduated the MSc course of Orthodontics from University of Warwick.

    Shaheer graduated from India in 2000 with special interest in Endodontology. In 2005, he gained Clinical Masters in Endodontics and has since been accepting endodontic referrals. To date, Shaheer has carried out more than 9,500 root canals treatments and undertaken numerous surgical endodontic cases, providing endodontic care utilising the operating microscope and microsurgical instruments. In 2007, Shaheer gained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and his dedication for endodontics has also led him to complete a MClinDent degree. He has worked in the Department of Restorative Dentistry in various dental hospitals in Scotland, gaining extensive experience in Restorative and Endodontic clinics, treating cases deemed too difficult for general practice. During this time, he developed his surgical endodontic skills and worked with other consultants in a multi-disciplinary team. Shaheer has publications in international journals and is a passionate teacher who has lectured around the world, conducting endodontic courses for young budding dentists and has recently qualified as “Dentsply Sirona Certified Trainer” from Bellaguis, Switzerland. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, British Dental Association, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology.

    Aleks Qualified in 1988 in Lublin Poland and moved to England in 2003 where has been practicing dentistry ever since. Aleks started working in Scunthorpe in 2015. During that time she has built up a loyal patient base that looks forward to their appointments at the practice. Aleks is very passionate about her dentistry and believes patient care comes first. Aleks has a special interest in endodontic treatment and has been studying more in depth over the last 2 years. She strives to keep her knowledge and skills up to date and is a mentor in the practice to support new dentists coming to work in the practice.

    Having qualified in 1992 from Sheffield University, I worked in general practice at various practices in the UK before making a move to Madrid, Spain in 1997. In Madrid, I embraced the Spanish culture, combining dentistry with family life. enjoying all types of family activities and sports with my Spanish wife and 2 boys. Although the experience of living and working in Spain was very rewarding on a personal, cultural and professional level, the time was right for me to return to work in the UK in 2019. I am thoroughly enjoying re-engaging with the British public and using my years of dental experience to provide family general dental care and becoming a member of an established Dental Practice.

    Charles obtained his Bachelor of Dental sciences degree in 2006 from University of Lagos and went on to obtain postgraduate qualifications in the fields of public health and research in London. He is an accredited member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Charles spent the earlier part of his career in secondary care working in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dental Public Health and community dentistry. Charles in various roles has provided supervision, mentoring and support to overseas trained dentists. Charles has a keen interest in preventative, restorative and implant dentistry and has a postgraduate masters in dental implantology.

    Emily studied Dentistry at Newcastle University and also has a degree in Biomedical Science from The University of Sheffield. She is keen on promoting a preventative approach to dentistry and is passionate about providing the most up-to-date high quality dentistry for her patients. Emily is currently studying for a postgraduate qualification to become a member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. She is also enrolled on a year-long postgraduate course in Advanced Operative Aesthetic andRestorative Dentistry. Emily enjoys dentistry as she likes meeting new people and is particularly interested in helping anxious patients improve their oral health.In her spare time Emily enjoys going to the gym, painting and dressmaking.

She is an expert in the management of periodontal problems, teeth restoration, airflow stain removal, and mechanical plaque removal. She promotes and educates patients on the best practices of oral hygiene techniques, which in turn helps her patients maintain optimal dental care and disease prevention.
