Alina has 36 years of experience within Dentistry. She has been working as an NHS dentist at Wyke Regis for 16 years. She also has some experience working as a dentist within the Prison service.Alina particularly enjoys restorative dentistry and smile makeovers. She is also fantastic at extractions and is usually able to carry out difficult extractions with ease.She still enjoys working as a dentist after all these years! Alina has 2 sons, one who is a vet and one who has followed his Mother's footsteps and who is also a dentist. Alina's passions are swimming, skiing, cycling, cars and she also enjoys traveling.

Jane graduated as a dental surgeon from Bristol University in 1989. After a year at a dental practice in Yeovil, she moved to Dorchester in 1991, where she worked as a dental associate for over thirty years.Jane joined {my}dentist Wyke Regis in 2021 and feels very settled and happy here.Although she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, Jane particularly enjoy caring for children and nervous patients, and putting them at ease. Dentures and Clear Correct (an aligner system for straightening teeth) are two areas of dentistry she particularly finds satisfying.Jane is married and has two adult children.In her spare time, Jane enjoys running, going for walks in the beautiful Dorset Countryside, travelling and eating out, or cooking for friends and family.

Sotirios Anagnostopoulos GDP

Sotirios graduated at the University of Athens in 2003. Sotirios first moved over to the UK from Greece in 2004. His first post in the NHS was in the Surrey and London area, which he enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the busy London life.In 2009 he relocated back to Greece to be with his family, until 2016 when he came back to the UK to continue working within the NHS and joined the team in the Yeovil. He then joined the team at Wyke Regis in November 2022.Sotirios enjoys all aspects of NHS dentistry. With patient care at the forefront of his role, he enjoys inspiring patients and motivating patients into a long term oral health improvement. Getting to know his patients whilst they attend the practice for their routine check ups is also very important to him. In his spare time, Sotirios enjoys reading, windsurfing and visiting friends all over the UK.

Sam started her dental career in 2004 when she joined the RAF and spent 10 years serving in the UK and abroad in Cyprus and Afghanistan. She qualified and served as a dental nurse from 2004 until 2010 and was promoted to Practice Manager. Sam realised she preferred patient contact over paperwork and studied to be a Dental Hygienist in Aldershot. She sat her exams through The Royal Surgeons of Scotland and qualified in 2013. She continued to serve at Corsham until she left the military in 2014 to begin her civilian career. She has continued her professional development through courses in tooth whitening, foundation and advance Botox and Dermal Fillers and a diploma in Diet and Nutrition.Sam currently works for {my}dentist in 4 Practices across Dorset. Bridport, New Milton, Wyke Regis and Dorchester.Sam has a French Bull dog named Fawnacus and loves to walk her however she is extremely stubborn and hates rain. Sam loves country music and will sing along to any cheesy 90's song which any of her Dental Nurse colleagues can attest to! Sam has an identical twin, and after 35 years, her Dad still calls her the wrong name!

Tina McGowan Hygienist

Tina entered the world of dentistry in 1987 as a Student Dental Nurse in her home town Weymouth. She gained her Dental Nursing qualification at Cardiff Dental School in 1991, and then in 1993 she qualified as a Dental Hygienist after training at King's College Hospital London and settled in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. In 2001 she then went on to study at Liverpool University and qualified as a Dental Therapist, which enables her to carry outadditional procedures such as extractions and fillings. She has been working in her home county of Dorset since 2003, where she married and had her daughter in 2010. Tina continues with her professional development and extended duties, and has significant experience in working in NHS, Private and Corporate Dentistry.
