Hi I'm Dr Alicja Malecka i grew up in Poland. I attended the medical university of Bialstock Faculty of Medicine with Dentistry Division in Poland until I graduated in 2005.I am very passionate about my work and enjoy providing dental services and care to patients; examining patients oral cavity and diagnosing their dental conditions; dealing with routine appointments and emergency cases.I have recently undertaken a course and qualified in the delivery of Facial Aesthetics which i am keen to develop.In my free time I like travelling, hiking in beautiful Shropshire hills; listening to music, socialising and photography.

I qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2007 and completed my Dental Therapy training at the University of Bristol in 2015. I’m passionate about supporting patients in achieving and maintaining optimal oral health. My goal is to help every patient feel confident in their smile while providing gentle, tailored care. I also pride myself in keeping up to date with training to optimise the use of the latest techniques available in modern day dentistry. I find great fulfilment in educating patients on preventative techniques and working alongside them to build lasting oral health habits. Prior to joining {my}dentist in 2011, I served in the military, an experience that shaped my dedication to service and teamwork. I take pride in creating a calm, welcoming environment for everyone I treat. Outside of work I stay active by going to the gym and playing tennis, and I treasure quality time with my family. I also enjoy being part of a collaborative team and building strong connections with my colleagues and patients.

Afsheen Khan Therapist

Afsheen is our Dental Hygiene and Therapist and has done her BDS from Pakistan. Since qualifying, Afsheen has gained an immense amount of experience in restorative work and has an interest in preventative dentistry and is passionate about improving gum health by providing treatment for gingivitis and periodontal (gum) disease by scaling and polishing teeth, root surface debridement and air polishing for a sparkling clean smile. Afsheen is also committed to improving her professional skills and knowledge with continuous professional development courses and keeping up to date on new products and technologies to ensure that only the best options are available to all her patients. In her spare time Afsheen enjoys spending time exploring the countryside with her sister, watching movies and shopping.

I graduated from the University of Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital in 2017 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Since then, I have continued to build on my clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development. In 2023, I joined {my}dentist Telford as a Dental Hygiene Therapist. My role focuses on preventing and treating gum disease, providing professional teeth cleaning. I share my knowledge by educating patients on maintaining excellent oral health care needs. I take pride in helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy smile through personalized care and preventative strategies. I am passionate about making patients feel comfortable and confident during their visits, and I work closely with them to create a tailored hygiene routine. Since moving from overseas I have valued the support of my colleges and see them as my work family. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending quality time with my friends and family.
