What does a typical day look like for an area development manager (ADM) or orthodontic development manager (ODM)?
ADMs and ODMs look after a group of practices in a specific area. They will typically work with 12 to 16 practices. ADMs and ODMs lead the practice teams to deliver outstanding care and manage performance. They also engage with self-employed clinicians within the practices, ensuring they have support to practise the type of dentistry they want.
The role of an ADM and ODM is varied and rewarding, but the role does require daily travel to, from and between practices. Typically, one day a week is planned as an admin day where there is likely to be a series of routine weekly online meetings to join.
Do I get a company car in a field role?
Our area development manager and orthodontic development manager roles require a car, so we provide a car allowance or the use of a company car to ensure you can perform in your role. Our resourcing team will be able to guide you through the full benefits for each role when you apply. The benefits of a specific job role will be provided within the advertisement.
